iBreva offers a phone based payment and loyalty system which significantly cuts merchant’s transaction fees and improves their top line, while offering consumers
a new level of convenience, benefits and security.
The iBreva solution works with existing mobile phones and does not require a hardware modification or application download. In the store, it’s just like using a debit card, except the customer initiates payment with the wave of their phone, rather than the swipe of a card.
Payment clearing is done using an existing fund transfer network that is robust, proven and low cost. It works with the retailer’s and the consumer’s existing bank accounts. For those loyalty programs that the consumer chooses to participate in, benefits are automatically accrued whenever they use their phone for payment.
The iBreva solution leverages the existing mobile phone, Internet and payment infrastructure. Phone activation is simple, and can be done in the store, over the air
or via the internet. Once the phone has been provisioned, it can be used for payment and loyalty participation at any participating merchant.
The customer experience is very much like using a PIN protected debit card,
except that the phone is waved in front of the POS, rather than swiped like a card.
